Metal Plate / 金属板のスイッチプレート
金属板によるスイッチプレートを制作した。スイッチプレートやコンセントプレートを金属でデザインする。大きな空間では、これらプレートは小さなパーツであるが、電気を灯す際等には必ず目にするものである。普段何気なく目にしているスイッチやコンセントが美しく仕上げた金属のプレートに変化すると、空間の印象も変化する。小さなデザインが、空間全体の美しさを醸し出していく。
We created a switch plate using a metal plate. Switch plates and outlet plates are designed using metal. In a large space, these plates are small parts, but they are always visible when turning on the lights. When the switches and outlets are replaced with beautifully finished metal plates, the impression of the space changes. Small designs add to the beauty of the entire space.
Variation / 変化
このスイッチプレートは、様々な仕上げを施すことで、同じ金属でも異なる表情や質感をつくりだしている。仕上げは鏡、ヘアライン、ブラスト、バイブレーション、そして炙りの5種類となる。仕上げによって、金属の美しい表情を引き出していく。
This switch plate has a variety of finishes, giving it different looks and textures even though it is made from the same metal. There are five finishes available: Mirror, Hairline, Blast, Vibration, and Aburi. The finishing process brings out the beautiful expression of the metal.
Metal Color / 金属の色彩
特に、炙り仕上げは金属の美しい色彩を浮かび上らせる。
In particular, Aburi finish brings out the beautiful colors of the metal.
Shape / 形
様々なスイッチやコンセント形状に対応する。
The metal plate is compatible with a variety of switch and outlet shapes.
Size / 大きさ
通常のスイッチプレートよりも縦長にデザインしたプレートは、さらにスイッチ部分を強調させる。
The plate is designed to be longer than a normal switch plate, which further emphasizes the switch area.
